The Federal Supreme Court, known in Portuguese as the Supremo Tribunal Federal and abbreviated STF, is the supreme court of Brazil and serves primarily as the country's constitutional court, making it the highest court of law for constitutional issues, with rulings that cannot be appealed. On cases involving only non-constitutional federal law, the Superior Court of Justice is instead Brazil's court of last resort.
