All General Civil Trial Courts

General Civil Trial Courts gathers the courts of first instance whose own jurisdiction is general rather than limited to one subject matter: the state, provincial and national trial courts that hear civil disputes of ordinary kinds, often alongside criminal, family and other matters as part of one broad docket, and the everyday small-claims, district and circuit courts that form the working base of most court systems. This is the largest and least specialized group in this subcategory, gathering the courts that do not belong to one of the subject-matter specific groups grouped elsewhere: criminal, family and probate, administrative, military, intellectual property, admiralty, historical or quasi-judicial.
