Abdul Gadire Koroma, born 29 September 1943 in Freetown, is a Sierra Leonean jurist who holds an LLM from Kyiv State University and an M.Phil. in international law from King's College London. He served as Sierra Leone's ambassador to the United Nations from 1981 to 1985 and was elected a judge of the International Court of Justice, serving two terms from 1994 to 2012. In 2011 he stood for re-election but narrowly lost to Julia Sebutinde, receiving a majority in the Security Council but falling one vote short in the General Assembly.
