Constitutions of CARICOM Member States

The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) is an intergovernmental organisation and political and economic union whose Wikipedia article states it comprises 15 full member states, established in 1973 by the Treaty of Chaguaramas: Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago. Each member state listed under this group is grouped here because its own currently governing constitution belongs to one of the sovereign states that article names as full CARICOM members, a defined and closed intergovernmental membership rather than a broader Caribbean or American grouping; Montserrat is a dependency named in the article's full member list and carries no separate constitution entity in this atlas, so it is not placed. This class distinguishes these states' current foundational legal instruments from constitutions of other American states outside CARICOM, and from constitutions grouped elsewhere in this atlas under other regional or organizational schemes such as the Organization of American States. Each member placed under this group carries its own separate citation for the specific fact that its country belongs to CARICOM.
