Zhang Jun, born October 1956 in Boxing County, Shandong, is a Chinese legal professional and politician who has served as President of the Supreme People's Court and Chief Justice of the People's Republic of China since March 2023. He previously served as Procurator-General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate from 2018 to 2023 and as Minister of Justice from 2017 to 2018, making him the only person to have headed both China's highest judicial and prosecutorial institutions; he holds a doctoral degree in criminal law from Wuhan University.
