East Asia

East Asia gathers the Chief Justices and senior judges of the highest courts of Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Mongolia. Japan's Supreme Court and South Korea's Constitutional Court and Supreme Court anchor two of the region's most established post-war judiciaries, while China's Supreme People's Court, Hong Kong's Court of Final Appeal, Taiwan's Judicial Yuan and Mongolia's Supreme Court each developed under very different political and legal systems.
