Yvonne Ott is a German judge born in Usingen, Hesse in 1963, who has served as a justice of the First Senate of the Federal Constitutional Court since November 2016. She studied law at Goethe University Frankfurt, earned her doctorate there in 1994, and worked as a research assistant before heading the parliamentary and cabinet division of Hesse's finance ministry. She became a judge at Frankfurt Regional Court in 1998, was seconded as a judicial clerk to the Federal Constitutional Court, rose to presiding judge at Frankfurt Regional Court, and served as a judge of the Federal Court of Justice from 2010 to 2016 before her appointment to the constitutional court.
