Wolfgang Zeidler was a German legal scholar and judge who joined the second senate of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany in November 1975 and served, from 20 December 1983 to 16 November 1987, as the fifth President of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany. Born on 2 September 1924 in Hamburg, he studied at the University of Hamburg and also led the British-German Jurists Association. He died on 31 December 1987 in Merano, Italy.
