William H. Sekule is a Tanzanian jurist born in 1944 who served on the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Arusha from 1995 to 2013, including as presiding judge of Trial Chamber Two. He went on to serve on the Appeals Chamber of the ICTR and of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, and in 2011 the United Nations General Assembly elected him a judge of the Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals.
