Vladimir Ivanovich Terebilov (1916-2004) was a Soviet judicial official born in Petrograd. He trained in law at the Leningrad Institute of Law, graduating in 1939, and served as Minister of Justice of the Soviet Union from 1970 to 1984. In April 1984 he was appointed chairman of the Supreme Court of the Soviet Union, succeeding Lev Smirnov, and he held that position until his retirement in 1989.
