Alan Vaughan Lowe, born in 1952, is a barrister and academic specializing in international law. He was Chichele Professor of Public International Law at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford, from 1999 to 2012, and has since been Emeritus Professor of International Law and Emeritus Fellow of All Souls College at Oxford.
