Solomy Balungi Bossa is a Ugandan judge on the International Criminal Court, in office since 11 March 2018. Born in 1956, she served as a High Court judge in Uganda from 1997 to 2013, sat on Uganda Court of Appeal and Constitutional Court, and was a judge at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda from 2003 to 2013. She was also appointed to the African Court on Human and Peoples Rights for a six-year term in 2014, and earlier in her career lectured at the Law Development Centre and practiced law with a focus on women rights and legal aid.
