Sigrid Emmenegger is a German judge born in Freiburg in 1976 who has served as a justice of the Second Senate of the Federal Constitutional Court since her election by the Bundestag on September 25, 2025, succeeding Doris Konig. She has served as a judge of the Federal Administrative Court in Leipzig since 2021, sitting on its Eleventh Senate, which handles cases on the expansion of energy transmission lines, and has lectured at Justus Liebig University Giessen since 2018.
