Sheikh Anwarul Haq (1917-1995) was a Pakistani jurist who served as the ninth Chief Justice of Pakistan from 1977 to 1981. He is remembered chiefly for presiding over the Supreme Court bench that upheld the death sentence of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and for later resigning rather than sign the Provisional Constitutional Order imposed under General Zia-ul-Haq's martial law.
