Peter Frank is a German judge and former prosecutor born in Lauda in 1968 who has served as a justice of the Second Senate of the Federal Constitutional Court since December 21, 2023. He studied law at the Universities of Wurzburg and Munich, passing both state examinations as the top student in Bavaria. He joined the Bavarian state justice ministry in 1995, served as a judge at the Munich Higher Regional Court from 2010 to 2011, and was appointed Germany's Public Prosecutor General, Generalbundesanwalt, in October 2015 at age 47, then the youngest person to hold that office, heading the Federal Prosecutor's Office until his appointment to the constitutional court.
