Nazmun Ara Sultana, born July 8, 1950, is a Bangladeshi judge who on February 23, 2011, became the first woman to serve as a judge of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, retiring from that post on July 7, 2017. She began her judicial career as an advocate in 1972, was appointed an Additional Judge of the High Court Division in 2000 and confirmed as a permanent judge two years later, before her elevation to the Appellate Division. She also founded the Bangladesh Women Judges Association and served two consecutive terms as Secretary of the International Association of Women Judges.
