Mirjan Damaska (born 1931) is a Croatian-American jurist and legal scholar known for his work in comparative criminal justice and international criminal law, best known for his 1986 book The Faces of Justice and State Authority, regarded as one of the most significant modern studies comparing how different legal systems structure criminal procedure and dispute resolution.
