Luigi Ferrari Bravo, who lived from August 5, 1933, to February 7, 2016, was an Italian legal scholar and diplomat who held academic posts at several Italian universities before becoming a professor of international law at the University of Rome in the mid-1970s, and who served as legal adviser to Italy's Minister for Foreign Affairs. He was selected in 1969 to represent Italy as an Eisenhower Fellow. He served as a judge of the International Court of Justice from 1995 to 1997, succeeding Roberto Ago and being succeeded by Pieter Kooijmans.
