Ibn Muflih, in full Shams al-Din Abu Abd Allah Muhammad ibn Muflih ibn Muhammad al-Maqdisi, was one of the leading authorities in Hanbali law and one of the most prolific writers of the Hanbali school during the fourteenth century. He taught at three Hanbali madrasas in Damascus: al-Jawziyya, al-Sahibiyya, and al-Umariyya.
