Horace Harmon Lurton lived from February 26, 1844 to July 12, 1914 and was an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States who previously served as a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and of the United States Circuit Courts for the Sixth Circuit.
