Hamoodur Rahman (1910-1981) was a Pakistani jurist who served as the seventh Chief Justice of Pakistan from 1968 to 1975, after earlier serving as a Senior Justice of the Supreme Court and as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dhaka. He is best known for chairing the Hamoodur Rahman Commission, the official inquiry into Pakistan's 1971 war and the loss of East Pakistan, whose findings on military conduct were kept classified for decades.
