Gunter Spinner is a German judge born in Oppenau in 1972 who has served as a justice of the First Senate of the Federal Constitutional Court since October 2025. He studied law at Freiburg, earned his doctorate in 2000, and worked as a research assistant in labour law and as a judge at labour courts including Freiburg and Lorrach. He clerked at the Federal Labour Court and was appointed a judge there in 2011, becoming presiding judge of its Eighth Division in 2023, the same year he joined the constitutional court.
