Gebhard Müller was a German lawyer and Christian Democratic Union politician who served as the third President of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany from 8 January 1959 to 8 December 1971. Born on 17 April 1900 in Füramoos, he had earlier served as President of Württemberg-Hohenzollern from 1948 to 1952 and as Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg from 1953 to 1958. He died on 7 August 1990 in Stuttgart, having lived to see the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.
