Bernardus Compostellanus Antiquus, known in English as Bernard of Compostella the Older, was a canonist of the early thirteenth century, a native of Compostela in Spain. He is called Antiquus, meaning elder, to distinguish him from the later canon lawyer Bernardus Compostellanus Junior.
