Andronikos Doukas Kamateros (about 1110 to about 1180) was a Byzantine aristocrat and theologian who served Emperor Manuel I Komnenos, to whom he was related as a second cousin through his mother. He held two of the highest judicial offices in the Byzantine Empire, serving as eparchos of Constantinople from 1157 to 1161 and as megas droungarios tes viglas from 1166 to 1176, after earlier holding the rank of sebastos and the office of epi ton deeseon in the mid 1150s. He is also known for his theological treatise the Sacred Arsenal, composed between 1172 and 1174, which examined disputes between Orthodox, Catholic and Armenian Christian teaching.
