Alexander Mikhailovich Rekunkov, who lived from 27 October 1920 to 23 May 1996, was a Soviet and Russian lawyer who served as Procurator General of the Soviet Union from 1981 to 1988, succeeding Roman Rudenko and being succeeded by Aleksandr Sukharev. He was born in Stogovsky in the Don Oblast of the RSFSR and died in Moscow, and was a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
