The Supreme Court of Korea is the highest ordinary court in the judicial branch of South Korea, seated in Seocho, Seoul. Established under Chapter 5 of the Constitution of South Korea, it holds ultimate and comprehensive jurisdiction over all cases except those falling under the separate Constitutional Court of Korea, and it sits atop every ordinary court in the country as one of South Korea's two apex courts. It is composed of a Chief Justice and thirteen associate justices.
