Rivers State High Court of Justice

The High Court of Justice is the highest court of Rivers State, Nigeria, comprising the Chief Judge of Rivers State and judges appointed by the Governor on the recommendation of the National Judicial Council and confirmation by the Rivers State House of Assembly. It holds unlimited original jurisdiction over civil and criminal cases and hears appeals from the states lower courts, with branches at Isiokpo, Omoku, Port Harcourt, Degema and Ahoada.
