Electronic court

An electronic court, or e-court, is a court that uses well-developed technical infrastructure to conduct its proceedings, allowing parties to file documents electronically, present evidence digitally and receive remote testimony. Also called a paperless court, the model aims to reduce reliance on paper records and speed judicial administration. The International Criminal Court in The Hague is frequently cited as a prominent example of an electronic court in practice.
