All Constitutions of SADC Member States

The Southern African Development Community (SADC) is an inter-governmental organization headquartered in Gaborone, Botswana, whose Wikipedia article names its stated objective as furthering regional socio-economic, political and security cooperation among 16 countries in southern Africa: Angola, Botswana, Comoros, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Each member state listed under this group is grouped here because its own currently governing constitution belongs to one of the 16 states that article names as an SADC member, a defined and closed intergovernmental membership distinct from any broader southern African or continental grouping; Comoros is grouped instead under this atlas' Arab League class to avoid placing one country under two group nodes in the same subcategory, and Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of the Congo carry no separate constitution entity in this atlas. This class distinguishes these states' current foundational legal instruments from constitutions of other Africa and Middle East states that are not SADC members. Each member placed under this group carries its own separate citation for the specific fact that its country belongs to SADC.
