The Constitution of Senegal, formally the Constitution de la Republique du Senegal, is the fourth constitution the country has adopted, following earlier versions of 1959, 1960 and 1963. It was adopted in a 2001 referendum and subsequently modified by constitutional law number 2016-10 after a further 2016 referendum, and the amended 2001 document remains the operative governing text, establishing the framework for Senegal's presidential system, parliament and judiciary.
