All Southern Africa

Southern Africa gathers the modern Chief Justices and senior constitutional judges of South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Eswatini and Lesotho. South Africa's own Constitutional Court, founded in 1994 under Nelson Mandela's first bench, anchors the group and dominates its membership, from the court's inaugural justices through its pre-1994 Appellate Division predecessors to its sitting members, alongside the smaller but long-established apex courts of its Commonwealth southern African neighbors.
