The Constitutio Criminalis Theresiana was a penal code issued in 1768 by the Austrian ruler Maria Theresa. It established a unified criminal law and criminal procedure law across the Habsburg-ruled lands of Austria and Bohemia. The code did not apply in Hungary, Belgium, or Lombardy.
