Zacchaeus Chesoni was a Kenyan judge who served as the tenth Chief Justice of Kenya, appointed by President Daniel arap Moi after preceding chief justice Abdul Majid Cockar and serving until his own succession by Bernard Chunga. Born on 1 January 1936 in western Kenya, he came from the Kabras sub-tribe near Webuye and also chaired the Electoral Commission of Kenya. He died on 5 September 1999 at Nairobi Hospital and was buried in Webuye.
