William Alexander Henry was a Canadian lawyer, politician and judge born December 30, 1816, who served as Attorney General of Nova Scotia and was a Father of Confederation, representing Nova Scotia at the Charlottetown, Quebec City and London conferences. He was appointed one of the first puisne justices of the Supreme Court of Canada when the court was established in 1875, a position he held until his death on May 3, 1888, and he was noted as a diligent attendee of the court who contributed to reforms in its early operation.
