Wilhelm Schaffrath lived from May 1, 1814 to May 7, 1893 and was a German jurist and politician. He was a member of the Frankfurt Parliament in 1848 and, after 1871, a member of the national Reichstag; at various stages he was also a member of the Landtag of Saxony.
