Wilhelm Georg Grewe was a German diplomat and professor of international law who lived from 1911 to 2000. He played a major role in formulating the Hallstein Doctrine and was the author of Epochen der Volkerrechtsgeschichte, published in 1984, a standard work on the history of international law.
