Una Ni Raifeartaigh is an Irish judge and lawyer who worked as a research assistant at Ireland's Law Reform Commission from 1988 to 1991 and served as Reid Professor of Criminal Law at Trinity College Dublin from 1991 to 1995. She was called to the bar in 1993 and took silk as senior counsel in 2009, building a practice mostly focused on criminal law with frequent appearances for Ireland's Director of Public Prosecutions, before her appointment to the Irish High Court in September 2016 and the Court of Appeal in November 2019. She has served as Ireland's judge at the European Court of Human Rights since 2 July 2024.
