Sir Samuel Weymouth Tapley Seaton, who lived from July 28, 1950 to June 29, 2023, was a Kittitian legal professional and the fourth Governor-General of Saint Kitts and Nevis, serving from 2015 to 2023. He earned a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the West Indies and trained further at the Hugh Wooding Law School and the Norman Manley Law School, then served as Crown Counsel and High Court Registrar before holding the office of Attorney General of Saint Kitts and Nevis from 1980 to 1995. He was appointed Queen's Counsel, later King's Counsel, in 1988, and was invested Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George in 2015.
