Abu Hafs Siraj al-Din al-Bulqini was an Egyptian scholar of Islamic jurisprudence, regarded as the foremost Shafi'i jurist of his time. He was known to have reached ijtihad, the standing to derive legal rulings independently, in the science of jurisprudence.
