Shaqroun Al-Wajdiji Al-Tilimsani was a prominent Maliki jurist originally from Tlemcen, born around 1503 and dying around 1574 in Fez. He was nicknamed Malik al-Saghir for his exceptional expertise in Maliki jurisprudence, and left Tlemcen for Fez in 1559 amid political instability.
