Salima Abi Rashed, who lived from 1887 to 1919, was a Lebanese lawyer and journalist born in Wadi Shahrur, considered to be the country's first female lawyer. In 1914 she founded Fatat Lubnan, one of Lebanon's earliest women's magazines.
