Saadet Yuksel is a Turkish jurist born on 7 December 1983 in Istanbul. She lectured in constitutional law at Istanbul University, becoming associate professor in 2016 and full professor in 2017, and worked as a lawyer and visiting lecturer at Harvard Law School, Koc University and Hamad Bin Khalifa University. She was elected Turkey's judge at the European Court of Human Rights by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in April 2019, took office in July 2019, and her term is expected to run until 2028.
