Robert Taschereau was a Canadian lawyer and judge born September 10, 1896 in Quebec City, who was appointed a puisne justice of the Supreme Court of Canada in 1940 and elevated to Chief Justice of Canada in 1963, serving until 1967. He also served for one month in 1967 as Administrator of the Government of Canada following the death of Governor General Georges Vanier. He died July 26, 1970 in Montreal.
