Renate Jaeger, born 1940 in Darmstadt, is a German lawyer who served as a judge of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany from 1994 to 2004 before serving as a judge of the European Court of Human Rights from 2004 to 2010, later acting as vice president of one of its sections. Her earlier career included judgeships on German social courts beginning in 1968.
