Reinhard Zimmermann, born October 10, 1952, is a German law professor and retired director at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg. From 2011 to 2023 he served as president of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation, the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.
