Peer Lorenzen is a Danish judge who served as a section president of the European Court of Human Rights. Born in Denmark in 1944 and educated at Aarhus University, he was a member of the European Commission of Human Rights from 1995 to 1999 before his appointment as an ECHR judge on 1 November 1998.
