Olga Maria del Carmen Sanchez Cordero Davila, born 16 July 1947, is a Mexican jurist and politician who served as an Associate Justice of Mexico Supreme Court of Justice from 1995 to 2015 and later became the first woman to serve as Secretary of the Interior, holding that post under President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador from 2018 to 2021. Earlier in her career she became the first female notary public in Mexico City. After leaving the Interior Ministry she was elected to the Senate, serving as its President from 2021 to 2022, and later to the Chamber of Deputies; a self-described feminist, she has advocated for abortion decriminalization and same-sex marriage rights.
