Johanne Marie Nanna Meyer lived from 1863 to 1958 and was a Norwegian jurist and civil servant. Born in Asgardstrand, she graduated with the cand.jur. law degree in 1901 and was hired as a secretary in the Ministry of Justice and the Police in 1903. She was one of the main proponents of a 1912 law granting women access to public offices, and was promoted to head of department in 1916.
