Myrthes Gomes de Campos, who lived from 1875 to 1965, was a Brazilian lawyer regarded as the first woman to practice law in Brazil. She completed her law degree in 1898, and in 1906 she was admitted to the Instituto dos Advogados do Brasil, the Institute of Brazilian Lawyers, which granted her permission to practice, making her a pioneer for women entering the Brazilian legal profession in the early twentieth century.
